Repair Engineer

Job PurposeTo lead and coordinate product repair activities within the production area, ensuring that repair technicians are properly trained and certified, quality standards are upheld, and continuous improvement is driven through data analysis and cross‑functional collaboration.
Key ResponsibilitiesTraining and Certification: Design and deliver technical training programs for repair technicians, and oversee their certification process to ensure they meet job competency requirements.Repair Operations and Team Supervision：Manage the day‑to‑day repair of non‑conforming products, including on‑site supervision of repair personnel and work allocation. Ensure that repair activities are performed efficiently and in accordance with established quality and safety standards.Data Analysis and Continuous Improvement： Collect, consolidate, and analyze non‑conformance data related to product repairs. Identify root causes and areas for improvement, and propose actionable corrective measures to reduce defect rates and enhance product quality.Asset Management and Inventory Control：Take responsibility for the management and periodic physical inventory of relevant tools, equipment, and spare parts under the repair area.Quality Issue Response and Non‑Conforming Product Disposition：In the event of quality issues during manufacturing, take appropriate actions in line with company procedures, including line stops, containment, traceability, and disposition of non‑conforming products (rework, repair, or scrapping).Process Quality Control and Cross‑Functional Improvement: Monitor and control quality stability throughout the production process. Perform statistical analysis of process data and actively work with Engineering, Maintenance, and Production departments to drive process improvements and validate their effectiveness.
Qualifications and RequirementsEducation: Bachelor’s degree or above in Electronics, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.Professional Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands‑on experience in mobile phone repair. Proven ability to use repair‑related software and diagnostic tools effectively.Technical Expertise: Solid experience in repairing 3C consumer electronics products, with specific knowledge of high‑temperature and dual‑temperature soldering processes.Soft Skills and Professional Conduct: Strong sense of responsibility, teamwork, and professional ethics. Demonstrates initiative, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality.Language Skills: Fluent communication skills in English or Chinese (both written and spoken).
