About the role
Thebackyardbakers is hiring a Retail Bakery Crew member. Immediate hire, with a 5/5.5/6 day work week.
Responsibilities
- Take customer orders and provide excellent customer service.
- Handle cash transactions and cashiering duties.
- Report to the Operations Manager.
- Perform basic on-site baking and food preparation.
- Prepare basic coffee and beverages as part of barista duties.
- Conduct quality checks on all products.
- Perform daily stocktake of baked goods produced and sold.
- Wash and maintain baking equipment, utensils, and workstations.
- Sweep and mop the kitchen and retail areas daily.
- Assist with other operational duties as assigned.

- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- Positive attitude, responsible, and reliable.
- Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
