HIRING: Robotics Engineer
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Are you an experienced Robotics Engineer with strong expertise in Automotive BIW Manufacturing and Robotic Simulation? Join an exciting engineering opportunity to support automotive manufacturing projects, robotic optimization, and production line improvements!
🔧 Key Responsibilities:
Perform plant investigations, feasibility studies, and developmental engineering.
Conduct robotic reach studies, simulations, and interference/clearance analysis using 3DEXPERIENCE (3DX).
Optimize weld spot distribution across robots while meeting cycle-time requirements.
Support robotic applications for welding, sealing, and material handling.
Prepare and review equipment, robot, and process specifications.
Coordinate with customers, onsite teams, and offshore engineering teams.
Manage project schedules, deliverables, technical issues, and engineering reviews.
