Rural Surveyors and Land Agents

We are a multi-disciplined rural practice working with clients mainly in the South West. We are a small, friendly team with an ever-expanding business and are looking for another person to join us. No two days are the same, and the role will provide the opportunity to work across a variety of rural and agricultural matters. We are looking for someone who is practical, enthusiastic and keen to learn, with the confidence to get stuck in and take responsibility.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have excellent attention to detail and be comfortable working with numbers
• Have a good understanding of farming
• Be a ‘do-er’ – practical, proactive and willing to get stuck in
• Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Be keen to expand their knowledge and develop their career
• Be well organised and able to manage their own workload
• Be self-motivated and able to work independently
• Have their own vehicle and a full driving licence
• Be discreet and professional when dealing with clients
• Enjoy the occasional lunch out with the team!
• Be good with the office dogs!

The following are preferable, but not essential:

• Be RICS and/or CAAV qualified, or working towards these qualifications;
• Have existing knowledge of rural grant schemes, such as SFI and Capital Grants

This could be a full-time or part-time position. Salary is dependent upon experience and ability.
