Key Responsibilities Evaluate and Justify Automation: Analyze current and future warehouse operations to identify opportunities for automation, robotics, and advanced material handling systems. Process Mapping & Measurement: Apply Lean Six Sigma, time studies, and value stream mapping to assess warehouse processes such as receiving, putaway, picking, packing, and shipping to detect inefficiencies and bottlenecks. Drive Implementation Projects: Lead automation and process change projects, coordinating with Operations, IT, Maintenance, and Vendors to ensure timely, budget-conscious delivery and performance goals. Analyze and Improve Warehouse Processes: Identify opportunities to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance quality through workflow analysis and capacity modeling. Support Safety Initiatives: Conduct ergonomic and time studies, and contribute to safety projects to maintain compliance and promote a safe work environment. Develop KPIs and Reporting: Track and report key performance indicators to sustain operational improvements. Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with Operations, Planning, and IT teams on process improvements, system enhancements, and automation initiatives. Facility Layout & Slotting Optimization: Assist DC Operations management with facility design and material flow to maximize space and resource utilization.
