Job description
About the Role:
Bluebix Solutions is seeking a dedicated Safety Compliance Officer to join our team in Lenexa, Kansas. This full-time position focuses on enhancing warehouse safety, efficiency, and automation through process evaluation and compliance initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and Justify Automation: Analyze current and future warehouse operations to identify opportunities for automation, robotics, and advanced material handling systems.
- Process Mapping & Measurement: Apply industrial engineering techniques such as Lean Six Sigma, time studies, and value stream mapping to assess warehouse processes including receiving, putaway, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Drive Implementation Projects: Lead or manage automation and process change projects, coordinating with Operations, IT, Maintenance, and Vendors to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery.
- Analyze Warehouse Processes: Identify improvement opportunities to boost efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality.
- Conduct Time and Ergonomic Studies: Perform workflow analyses, capacity modeling, and ergonomic assessments to optimize labor and support safety initiatives.
- Prepare Cost Estimates and Capital Expenditure Proposals: Assist in new product cost estimation and develop CEPs to enhance production and customer service.
- Develop and Track KPIs: Monitor key performance indicators to sustain operational improvements.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with Operations, Planning, and IT teams to implement new processes, system enhancements, and automation efforts.
- Facility Layout and Material Flow Design: Partner with Distribution Center management to optimize facility layout, slotting, and material flow for maximum efficiency.
- Standard Operating Procedures: Create and maintain SOPs to ensure consistent and safe operations.

This position is based onsite in Lenexa, Kansas. Remote work is not eligible.
