Sales and Customer Service Representative

About the role

Cadex Defence is looking for a Sales and Customer Service Representative to join its team in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu. As part of the Sales Department, this role promotes and sells Cadex products and services for the commercial and defense divisions, serves existing customers, and contributes to developing new business opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell products and services to existing and prospective customers.
• Prospect, develop and follow up on customer accounts, including certain international accounts.
• Identify new customers, markets and business opportunities.
• Prepare quotations and manage customer orders from the initial request through follow-up.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date customer records and resolve customer issues.
• Participate in troubleshooting, warranty service and after-sales support.
• Help develop and implement the sales and marketing plan for the commercial product line.
• Contribute to marketing products and services for commercial, regular military and special forces markets.
• Participate, when required, in commercial and military trade shows, shooting demonstrations and certain research and development projects related to new products.

Requirements

• Experience in sales and/or customer service within the firearms and/or military industry is required.
• Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in French is recommended. Additional languages are an asset.
• Strong written and verbal communication, sales and customer service skills.
• Self-motivated, dynamic, personable, versatile and proactive.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong ability to learn quickly.
