Sales Engineer

Key ResponsibilitiesProvide pre-sales technical support for Smart Electricity Metering, Smart Water Metering, Distribution Automation, Smart Street Lighting, and related solutions.Support the sales team in customer visits, technical meetings, product presentations, and solution demonstrations.Prepare technical proposals, product selection, and solution designs based on customer requirements.Prepare technical documents for tenders, including technical proposals, compliance responses, and clarification documents.Support product testing, pilot projects, and on-site technical activities.Coordinate with headquarters' R&D, product, and project teams to resolve technical issues.Collect customer requirements and market feedback to support continuous product improvement.QualificationsBachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related field.Minimum 5 years of experience in the power utility industry.Experience in technical support for public or international tender projects.Ability to independently prepare technical proposals and tender documentation.Strong presentation, communication, and customer-facing skills.Fluent in Spanish; English proficiency is preferred.Willingness to travel as required.Preferred QualificationsExperience working for electric utilities, equipment manufacturers, or EPC companies.Knowledge of AMI, HES, MDM, SCADA, RF Mesh, PLC, NB-IoT, or other Smart Grid technologies.
