SAP Business Systems Senior Analyst - Production Planning PP

General Summary
The SAP Business Systems Senior Analyst - Production Planning (PP) reports to US and serves as the primary liaison between Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Production Planning, and IT to support, enhance, and optimize SAP Production Planning processes. This role is responsible for analyzing business requirements, configuring and supporting SAP PP solutions, and driving continuous improvement initiatives that improve production planning, manufacturing efficiency, and operational performance.
Working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams, the SAP Business Systems Analyst – PP participates in the design, implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing support of SAP Production Planning capabilities. The role ensures SAP PP solutions align with business objectives, manufacturing requirements, and regulatory standards while promoting standardized processes and best practices across the organization.
Minimum Education and ExperienceBachelor's degree in Information Systems, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering, Business, Computer Science, or a related field8+ years of progressive SAP Production Planning (PP) functional experience.Experience supporting SAP PP solutions within manufacturing or regulated production environments.Strong functional knowledge of SAP Production Planning (PP), including Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Production Orders, Bills of Material (BOM), Routings, Work Centers, Capacity Planning, and Production Scheduling.Experience gathering business requirements, preparing functional specifications, and supporting SAP solution design.Experience supporting SAP PP production environments and troubleshooting complex functional issues.Strong understanding of production planning, manufacturing operations, material planning, inventory management, and supply chain processes.Experience developing and executing test plans, test scripts, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), System Integration Testing (SIT), regression testing, and deployment validation activities.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities while collaborating effectively with business stakeholders, project teams, and technical resources.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with SAP S/4HANA Production Planning.Experience integrating SAP PP with SAP IBP, MES, MM, QM, SD, and EWM modules.SAP PP certification preferred.Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, biotech, consumer products, or other regulated manufacturing industries preferred.
