About the RoleWe are looking for a hands-on SAP BW and BW/4HANA Developer with 4–5 years of practical experience to join our team. In this role, you will create and maintain extractors in ECC / S/4HANA, build robust data models in BW and BW/4HANA, and develop data flows from both SAP and non-SAP sources.You will help enable business insights through BW Queries, Webi, and Analysis for Office, while partnering with functional teams across OTC, PTP, FI, and SCM to deliver high-performance, well-documented solutions.
Key ResponsibilitiesCreate and maintain extractors in ECC / S/4HANA.Build robust data models in BW and BW/4HANA.Develop seamless data flows from both SAP and non-SAP sources.Enable analytics through BW Queries, Webi, and Analysis for Office.Partner with functional teams such as OTC, PTP, FI, and SCM.Translate business needs into technical designs.Support performance and data quality improvements.Maintain documentation discipline and ownership of technical solutions.
Required Experience4–5 years of practical experience as an SAP BW and/or BW/4HANA Developer.Expert skills with DSO/ADSO, Open ODS, CompositeProviders, InfoObjects, and BW Queries.Expertise in legacy, ODP, and CDS-based extraction.Solid ABAP experience for routines and user exits.Mastery of Process Chains, monitoring, and error handling.Deep understanding of LSA/LSA++, data governance, and BW security.Advanced English level, required for communication with the US client.
Nice to HaveAMDP or SQLScript experience.Familiarity with S/4HANA data structures.Exposure to SAP Datasphere or SAP BTP.Experience with Power BI or Tableau via OData or HANA Calculation Views.Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
