SAP RAR Analyst/Consultant

Role: SAP RAR Analyst/ Consultant/ Senior ConsultantLocation: RemoteHiring Mode: Contract Role
Key ResponsibilitiesSAP RAR Functional Support• Support configuration and maintenance of SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR).• Work on Revenue Accounting Items (RAI), Revenue Contracts, Performance Obligations (POBs),and Revenue Postings.• Support revenue recognition processes in accordance with IFRS 15 requirements.• Assist in contract modification, SSP allocation, fulfillment processing, and invoicing scenarios.• Perform reconciliation and consistency checks across source systems, RAR contracts, and Financepostings.• Investigate and resolve RAR-related incidents, defects, and process issues.Process & Business Analysis• Conduct impact analysis and support solution discussions.• Support testing activities including Unit Testing, SIT, UAT, and defect resolution.• Collaborate with OTC, Finance, and other functional teams to ensure end-to-end processalignment.Stakeholder Management• Participate in client discussions and functional workshops.• Provide functional support during AMS engagements and hypercare activities.• Prepare and maintain process documentation, knowledge articles, and support documentation.• Support knowledge transfer and training activities for business and support teams.Required SkillsSAP RAR• Strong functional knowledge of SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR).• Understanding of IFRS 15 / ASC 606 revenue recognition principles.• Good understanding of Revenue Contracts, Performance Obligations (POBs), Revenue AccountingItems (RAIs), SSP Allocation, Contract Modification, Revenue Posting, Contract Assets andLiabilities, Fulfillment Management, Reconciliation, and Contract Monitoring.OTC Process Knowledge• Basic understanding of the Order-to-Cash (OTC) process.• Knowledge of Sales Orders, Deliveries, Billing, Invoicing, and Revenue Recognition flow.• Awareness of SAP SD integration with SAP RAR.Functional Skills• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.• Ability to support functional analysis and issue resolution.• Good understanding of SAP business processes and integrations.• Experience in incident, defect, and testing support activities.• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a global delivery environment.
