Tasks

• Design and develop REST/gRPC APIs, microservices, and distributed systems using Scala.
• Implement asynchronous processing and concurrency using Akka, Play, or ZIO.
• Develop robust applications using type-safe, immutable data structures.
• Optimize JVM/Scala performance, memory usage, concurrency, and multithreading.
• Integrate SQL/NoSQL databases, message brokers, and cloud platforms.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, automated builds, and containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Modernize legacy Java-based applications by integrating Scala modules and leveraging JVM interoperability.

Requirements

• Strong experience in Scala development
• Hands-on #Kafka experience
• Experience developing or refactoring Scala applications
• Containerization and endpoint deployment experience
• REST/gRPC APIs, microservices, and distributed systems
• #Docker, #Kubernetes, and #CI/ #CD
• #JVM performance optimization
• #Database and cloud platform integration
• Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in Scala development with Kafka and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
