Every Special Child is hiring a full-time School Psychologist in Hayward, California, for the 2026–27 school year. This on-site role offers the opportunity to support students’ mental health, academic progress, and overall well-being in an inclusive educational environment. Compensation is $70,000 per year.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments to identify student needs and inform individualized education plans.
• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to promote supportive learning environments.
• Provide counseling and interventions for students experiencing academic or personal challenges.
• Consult with parents and guardians about student progress and strategies to support improvement.
• Monitor intervention outcomes and adjust strategies as needed.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings focused on students’ academic and emotional growth.
• Provide staff training and resources on mental health, student support, and effective communication.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Psychology required.
• Strong communication skills when working with students, families, and staff.
• Experience in an educational setting preferred.
• Familiarity with current psychological assessments and interventions.
• Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) certification or other relevant credentials are a plus.
• Proficiency with educational and communication software and tools.
• At least two years of experience in a school or clinical setting preferred.
