SDET Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced SDET Engineer with a strong background in software development, test automation, and database testing to support a long-term client engagement.

Requirements

• Prior .NET Development experience
• Need LOCAL to CA and Onsite
• 8+ years of experience in software development using Microsoft .NET, ASP.NET, MVC, and C#.
• Strong experience with Object-Oriented Programming concepts and developing web applications using jQuery, JavaScript, HTML, and XML.
• 8+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server, SQL queries, complex joins, stored procedures, and database data models.
• 5+ years of experience implementing automated testing, including automated regression testing and improving test coverage.
• Hands-on experience with test automation using Java, Python, Shell Scripting, or another programming language.
• 5+ years of experience preparing test environments, testing harnesses, test data, and test cases for functional, system, performance, and regression testing.
• 5+ years of experience creating test plans, test strategies, test specifications, and testing documentation.
• 3+ years of experience in SQL-based data manipulation, reporting, and validation.
• 5+ years of experience with defect tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, HP ALM, or JAMA.
• Strong experience analyzing business, functional, and technical requirements and translating them into test requirements and test cases.
• Experience analyzing test results, generating test scripts, identifying defects, and fine-tuning test data and test cases.
• Experience with requirements elicitation, business use cases, business rules, and functional/nonfunctional requirements.
