LOBAMBO SECURITY Services is hiring a dedicated Security Officer Grade C (Armed and Unarmed) & Dog Handler to join our professional security team in Germiston, Gauteng, South Africa. This full-time role is essential for maintaining safety and security across client sites, using both traditional security measures and trained canine support. Key Responsibilities Perform regular patrols and surveillance of assigned areas to prevent security breaches. Operate and monitor surveillance systems, ensuring accurate recording and reporting of all activities. Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, assessing situations and taking appropriate action. Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders during incidents. Engage with employees and the public to foster a secure and safe environment. Utilize trained dogs for security patrols and detection of prohibited items. Maintain detailed and accurate daily reports on activities and incidents. Qualifications & Skills Minimum education: Matric Certificate (Grade 12). Strong surveillance and physical fitness skills are required. Previous security experience preferred but not mandatory. Relevant security certifications are advantageous. Familiarity with security hardware, software, and communication tools. Join a team of experienced security professionals reporting to the Security Supervisor. This role offers remote eligibility and a competitive monthly salary of ZAR 20,000.
