Security Shift Supervisor

Key Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of the security personnel on shift, ensuring adherence to protocols and procedures. Conduct regular inspections of the premises to ensure compliance with safety standards. Manage and train security staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their performance. Prepare and submit detailed reports on incidents, breaches, and any security concerns. Communicate effectively with team members and clients to address issues and improve service delivery. Evaluate performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement actionable strategies. Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency services when necessary, ensuring effective response plans are in place. Required and Preferred Qualifications Matric or equivalent qualification. PSIRA certification is mandatory. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word for reporting and record-keeping. Exceptional report writing skills. Demonstrated experience in staff management and team leadership. Strong problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail. Excellent communication and time management skills. 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role within the security industry.
