Key Responsibilities Oversee daily security operations during your shift, ensuring strict compliance with all protocols and procedures. Conduct regular premises inspections to maintain safety and security standards. Manage, train, and support security personnel to improve team performance and service quality. Prepare detailed incident and security reports, documenting breaches and concerns accurately. Maintain effective communication with team members and clients to resolve issues and enhance service delivery. Analyze performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities and implement corrective actions. Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency services to ensure prompt and effective response plans. Required and Preferred Qualifications Matric certificate or equivalent qualification. Mandatory PSIRA certification. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word for reporting and documentation. Strong report writing and documentation skills. Proven experience in staff management and leadership roles within the security sector. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Outstanding communication and time management abilities. 3 to 5 years of supervisory experience in the security industry. As a Security Shift Supervisor at BPC, you will report directly to the Security Operations Manager and collaborate with other supervisors to maintain high service standards. This role is based in Durban and requires a hands-on leadership approach to ensure client safety and operational excellence.
