Job description
Tobacco leading company in the North Coast
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA registration (Contador Público Autorizado) is required.
- 3 to 5+ years of accounting experience, with a strong preference for the tobacco, manufacturing, or consumer goods (FMGC) sectors.
- Advanced Excel and hands-on experience with local tax platforms (DGII Virtual Portal).
- Advanced Excel and hands-on experience with local tax platforms and obligations (DGII Virtual Portal 606, 607, 608, and IT-1 (ITBIS) reporting. Handle withholding taxes (IR-17) and corporate tax filings.
- Able to Maintain accurate documentation for specialized consumer goods regulations, ensuring full compliance with any specific tobacco levies, industry licenses, and reporting requirements managed under Ministerio de Hacienda.
