Senior Accounting Manager

About the role

Oversee the firm's financial operations, reporting, budgeting and regulatory compliance while working closely with the firm's principals.

Tasks

• Oversee the firm's accounting operations, including general and trust accounts
• Prepare financial statements, reports, budgets and cash flow analyses
• Manage accounts payable, receivable, billing and payroll
• Coordinate year-end reporting, audits and regulatory compliance
• Supervise and support the accounting and billing teams

Requirements

• CPA designation preferred, or extensive senior-level law firm accounting experience
• Minimum 5 years of progressive senior accounting or finance experience
• Strong knowledge of trust accounting, financial reporting and Law Society compliance
• Experience supervising accounting and billing teams
• Excellent analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Schedule

• Full-time

Pay

• $87,000–$130,000, commensurate with experience
