About the role
My Virtual Mate is hiring a Senior AI / Backend Engineer to build production-grade AI systems, including RAG and intelligent document processing.
Responsibilities
- Build production-grade AI and backend systems.
- Develop RAG pipelines and LLM-powered applications.
- Design OCR and intelligent document processing workflows.
- Build document extraction, validation, and retrieval systems.
- Develop AI agents, REST APIs, and scalable microservices.
- Work with embeddings, vector databases, PostgreSQL, and Redis.
- Deploy AI services using Docker and AWS/Azure.
- Improve AI accuracy, security, and reliability.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software/backend experience.
- 2+ years of AI/ML or GenAI experience preferred.
- Key skills: Python, Fast API, Django, RAG, LLMs, OCR, vector databases, REST APIs, PostgreSQL, Redis, Docker, and AWS/Azure.
- Bonus skills: Lang Chain, Llama Index, MCP, AI agents, OpenAI, Claude, Llama, AWS Tex tract, Azure Document Intelligence, and Kubernetes.
