Job description
Tasks
- Lead audit and attestation engagements, including planning, fieldwork, and reporting.
- Perform risk assessments and evaluate internal controls.
- Apply auditing standards, including GAAS, GAGAS, SSAE, and Uniform Guidance (UG).
- Review audit workpapers and ensure compliance with professional standards.
- Prepare audit reports and communicate findings and recommendations to clients.
- Supervise, mentor, and support audit staff.
- Manage engagement budgets, timelines, and client relationships.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
- 3+ years of public accounting or external audit experience.
- Strong knowledge of GAAS, GAGAS, SSAE, and Uniform Guidance.
- Experience with audit planning, fieldwork, and financial statement audits.
- CPA license, eligibility, or progress toward CPA preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
