Senior Azure Cloud Engineer (AKS Platform)

We are seeking a Senior Azure Cloud Engineer responsible for designing, implementing,automating, securing, and supporting enterprise Azure cloud platforms. The ideal candidatewill have strong expertise in Azure infrastructure, Kubernetes (AKS), Infrastructure asCode, DevOps, and cloud operations. This role requires a proactive individual who canquickly adapt, take ownership of platform services, and drive engineering excellence.
Core Responsibilities
Azure Cloud Engineering Design, deploy, and support Azure resources and cloud infrastructure. Manage Azure services including:o Application Gateway & Load Balancerso Azure Firewall & Private Endpointso Compute services – VMs, App services, Function apps, Logic appso Storage Accounts – blob, Fileshareso AI cognitive services – Foundry, Search and etc,.o Azure SQL, PostgreSQLo Key Vaulto Azure DNS – Private DNS zoneso Azure Monitor & Log Analyticso Virtual Networks, NSGs, Route Tables Implement Azure security, governance, RBAC, Managed Identities, and networkingbest practices.
Kubernetes & Containers Design, deploy, and support Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) environments. Manage cluster lifecycle, upgrades, scaling, security, and monitoring. Administration of Kubernetes Services – Dockerfiles, Deployment manifests and etc,.
 Support Helm Charts, Gateway API (Envoy), CSI Drivers, Workload Identity, andcontainer platforms. Troubleshoot Kubernetes, application, networking, and storage issues.
Infrastructure Automation Build and maintain reusable Terraform modules. Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and environment standardization. Automate infrastructure provisioning and platform operations.
Monitoring & Operations Monitor platform health using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Prometheus, Grafana,and Dynatrace. Lead incident management, root cause analysis, and performance optimization. Drive reliability, security, and cost optimization initiatives.
Required Skills Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, Networking, Security) Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) Terraform Azure DevOps Pipelines Helm Charts Docker & Containers Linux Administration Networking & DNS PowerShell, Bash, or Python Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills
Preferred Certifications – Good to have (Not Mandatory) Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure Administrator CKA/CKAD and Terraform Associate
