As a Senior CNC Programmer/Machinist, you will be instrumental in developing and optimizing CNC programs, operating CNC machinery, and ensuring the highest quality standards in production. Your expertise will enhance operational efficiency and product excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize CNC programs for diverse machining operations, ensuring precision and efficiency.
- Use CAD/CAM software to create and modify machinable designs according to technical specifications.
- Set up and operate CNC machines, performing test runs to validate program accuracy.
- Inspect finished parts regularly to maintain compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Collaborate with engineers and technicians to troubleshoot and improve machine functionality.
- Train and mentor junior machinists and programmers, promoting teamwork and knowledge sharing.
- Document all processes and modifications following internal quality assurance protocols.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in CNC programming and machining.
- Proficiency in CNC programming and CAD/CAM technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for technical troubleshooting.
- Experience with a variety of CNC machining tools and equipment.
- Industry-standard certifications are advantageous.
