Job Title: Senior Consultant – AI & Solutions Engineering (Bilingual) Location: Guatemala City, Guatemala (Hybrid) Employment Type: Full-timeAbout the jobWhat is the day-to-day of this role like?As a Senior AI & Solutions Engineering Consultant at EFICSA, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing end-to-end technological solutions, building solid business cases that transform the operations of our Mid-Market clients across the United States and LATAM. You will act as the strategic bridge between "hard engineering" and business objectives, developing scalable architectures and Artificial Intelligence solutions that enable smart, automated capabilities within organizations looking to modernize their legacy systems.You will participate in building robust ecosystems driven by complex integrations (RESTful APIs, Webhooks), AI applications (virtual agents, CX copilots), and enterprise SaaS platforms (Freshworks, Webex). You will be responsible for leading the technical fronts of our projects, bringing your expertise in backend development, microservices, and event-driven architectures to ensure that banking and telecommunications integrations are secure, agile, and highly scalable.You will collaborate closely with C-Level stakeholders to translate their operational and strategic needs into real solutions, considering factors such as ROI, latency reduction, and the end-user experience. You will apply your knowledge with a true "problem-solver" mindset: when a process fails or a third-party API is blocked, you are the one who architects the workaround before it becomes a business issue.You will work in a dynamic, demanding, and multicultural environment, which includes strategic travel to the US to support high-level business closings (e.g., BNI Groups). We are driven by creating a direct and measurable impact on our clients' revenue through the adoption of cutting-edge technology.What is needed to apply?Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related fields).Technical Experience (5+ years): Strong background in software development or solutions architecture (APIs, JSON, microservices, Cloud-Native). Proven experience integrating enterprise SaaS platforms and deploying workflows with automation or AI in production environments.Language (Mandatory): Advanced/Bilingual English (C1/C2).
