Job description
Softility Tech is hiring a full-time Senior Consultant – SRE, Cloud Platforms in Atlanta, Georgia. In this on-site role, you will strengthen cloud infrastructure and site reliability engineering practices to help ensure services remain available, reliable, and efficient.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain monitoring systems for cloud service availability and reliability.
- Partner with DevOps teams to automate and streamline operations and processes.
- Manage and resolve incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code for scalable, efficient cloud environments.
- Contribute to architecture reviews and technical discussions, promoting cloud best practices.
- Lead site reliability engineering transformation and cloud adoption projects.
- Mentor junior team members and support knowledge sharing.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least five years of experience in a similar role focused on cloud technologies and site reliability engineering.
- Proficiency with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Strong understanding of monitoring and alerting tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and automation tools such as Jenkins and Terraform.
- Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer are preferred.
Work Arrangement
This is a full-time, non-remote position based in Atlanta, Georgia. The role works within a collaborative team structure and reports to the Head of the relevant function.
