Job description
Softility Tech is seeking an experienced Senior Consultant – SRE, Cloud Platforms to join our Atlanta, Georgia team. This full-time role is ideal for professionals passionate about site reliability engineering and cloud infrastructure, eager to drive innovation and operational excellence in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain robust monitoring systems to ensure high availability and reliability of cloud services.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate and streamline cloud operations and processes.
- Manage incident response, conduct root cause analysis, and implement preventive solutions.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) to improve scalability and efficiency of cloud environments.
- Participate in architecture reviews and technical discussions to enforce cloud best practices.
- Lead SRE transformation projects and cloud adoption initiatives across the organization.
- Mentor junior engineers and foster knowledge sharing within the team.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in SRE or cloud engineering roles.
- Proficiency with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Strong expertise in monitoring and alerting tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
- Experience with DevOps automation tools including Jenkins and Terraform.
- Preferred certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer, or equivalent.
