Job description
Softility Tech is seeking an experienced Senior Consultant – SRE, Cloud Platforms to join our Atlanta, Georgia team. This full-time role is ideal for professionals passionate about cloud infrastructure and site reliability engineering, eager to drive innovation and operational excellence in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain monitoring systems to ensure high availability and reliability of cloud services. Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate and streamline operations and processes. Manage incidents and perform root cause analysis , implementing preventive measures to enhance system stability. Develop and maintain infrastructure as code for cloud environments to improve scalability and efficiency. Participate in architecture reviews and technical discussions to promote cloud best practices. Lead SRE transformation and cloud adoption projects across the organization. Mentor junior staff and foster knowledge sharing within the team. Required and Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in site reliability engineering and cloud technologies. Proficiency with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Strong expertise in monitoring and alerting tools like Prometheus and Grafana. Experience with DevOps automation tools including Jenkins and Terraform. Industry certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer are highly preferred.
