Senior Consultant – SRE, Cloud Platforms in Atlanta, GA

Softility Tech is hiring a Senior Consultant – SRE, Cloud Platforms to join our Atlanta, Georgia team. This full-time role focuses on optimizing cloud infrastructure and advancing site reliability engineering (SRE) practices to ensure robust, scalable, and highly available cloud services. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain monitoring systems to guarantee high availability and reliability of cloud platforms. Collaborate closely with DevOps teams to automate workflows and streamline operational processes. Manage incidents effectively, conduct root cause analysis, and implement preventive solutions. Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) for cloud environments to improve scalability and operational efficiency. Engage in architecture reviews and technical discussions to promote cloud best practices. Lead SRE transformation projects and cloud adoption initiatives across the organization. Mentor junior engineers and foster knowledge sharing within the team. Required and Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in cloud technologies and site reliability engineering roles. Proficiency with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Strong expertise in monitoring and alerting tools like Prometheus and Grafana. Experience with DevOps automation tools including Jenkins and Terraform. Preferred certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer, or equivalent.
