Senior Core Java Developer – Front Office

About the role

Join an Equities Technology team working on a global electronic trading platform.

Requirements

• 10+ years of hands-on Core Java development experience.
• Strong experience in Financial Services / Capital Markets.
• Hands-on experience with Cash Equities or Electronic Trading platforms.
• Experience with Order Management Systems (OMS), order routing or trade execution.
• Strong knowledge of Multithreading, Concurrency and Low-Latency systems.
• Expertise in JVM tuning, memory management and performance optimization.
• Good command of Linux/UNIX.
• Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Nice to have: Apache Kafka / Aeron, FIX Protocol, Docker / Podman / Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, performance profiling and monitoring, Agentic AI for software maintenance.
• Ideal candidates: Senior Java developers with Front Office, Cash Equities, Investment Banking or Electronic Trading experience.
