Senior Data & AI Engineer

About the role

Build production-grade, AI-powered data solutions on Snowflake for a leading financial institution.

Tasks

• Design and deploy RAG pipelines, agentic AI workflows and semantic layers using Snowflake Cortex AI
• Build real-time and batch data pipelines using dbt, Airflow, Spark and Kafka
• Develop scalable solutions using Snowpark, Streamlit and Snowflake Native Apps
• Optimize Snowflake performance, security and governance

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering or Data Platform Architecture
• Strong Snowflake expertise, including governance, security and query performance tuning
• Proven experience deploying LLM, RAG, vector search or agentic AI solutions into production
• Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL
• Hands-on experience with Airflow, dbt, Spark and Kafka
• Strong communication and client-facing skills
• Preferred: Snowflake certifications (Architect, Data Engineer or AI specialization)
• Preferred: Experience with OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini or open-source LLMs
• Preferred: Understanding of data privacy and AI governance frameworks
