Position: Senior Design Manager
Location: San José, Costa Rica
Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Design Manager with a strong background in architecture or interior design to lead and mentor multiple project teams. This full-time role requires expertise in managing the entire project lifecycle, from initial design through post-occupancy evaluation.
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or foreign equivalent
- Licensed or registered architect
- Proven experience managing and mentoring multiple project teams
- Strong negotiation skills for project scope and fees
- Experience with construction documentation and design detail development
- Comprehensive knowledge of the entire project lifecycle, including post-occupancy
What You Will Do
- Lead design teams to deliver high-quality architectural and interior design projects
- Manage project scopes, budgets, and timelines effectively
- Mentor junior designers and coordinate cross-functional teams
