We're Hiring: Senior Developer – Power Pages Migration Specialist
Location: Edmonton, Alberta, Canada
Duration: 6 months + possible 12-month extension
Important: Only candidates currently residing in Canada will be considered.
We are looking for experienced Full Stack Developers / Power Pages Migration Specialists to support a major portal modernization project. The ideal candidates will have strong hands-on experience migrating legacy Adxstudio Portals to Microsoft Power Pages, with expertise in Dataverse, Liquid templates, and AI-assisted development.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze and modernize legacy Adxstudio Portals (v8) and migrate them to Microsoft Power Pages.
Use Microsoft Copilot and GitHub Copilot for Liquid translation, JavaScript generation, code refactoring, and troubleshooting.
Migrate portal data models to the Enhanced Data Model using Power Platform CLI and Dataverse tools.
Modernize entity forms, web forms, lists, templates, and custom portal components.
Integrate Power Pages with external systems, including SharePoint, payment processing, and authentication providers.
Configure Dataverse table permissions and web roles.
Perform testing, troubleshoot migration issues, document solutions, and support deployment activities.
Required Skills & Experience:
3+ years of experience with Adxstudio Portals (v8), Power Apps Portals, and Microsoft Power Pages.
3+ years of experience migrating portal data models to the Enhanced Data Model using Microsoft Power Platform.
Hands-on experience with Liquid, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
Experience using Microsoft Copilot for Liquid translation, JavaScript generation, and troubleshooting.
Strong knowledge of Dataverse, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dynamics 365 applications.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
Microsoft PL-400 and PL-200 certifications, or equivalent practical experience.
Nice to Have:
Experience integrating Power Pages with SharePoint, payment systems, and authentication
