About the Role
As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will design and develop electrical systems, resolve complex technical issues, and help ensure projects meet performance, budget, and schedule goals. You will work with mechanical and software engineers, communicate technical findings to stakeholders, and mentor junior engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical systems and components using sound engineering principles.
- Troubleshoot existing systems and improve their reliability and performance.
- Plan projects and conduct technical assessments to support delivery within budget and timelines.
- Collaborate with mechanical and software engineering teams to integrate systems.
- Prepare and present design specifications, test results, and other project documentation.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and engineering process optimization.
- Mentor junior engineers and foster a collaborative technical environment.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- At least 5 years of experience in electrical engineering or a related field.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to evaluate and optimize system performance.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, MATLAB, or comparable electrical design software.
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification is highly preferred.
- Project management experience is a plus.
