Senior ETL / SSIS Developer

Job Description:We are seeking an experienced Senior ETL / SSIS Developer with strong SQL Server expertise to design, develop, optimize, and support ETL processes and data integration solutions. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with SSIS, advanced SQL programming, SQL Server administration, and exposure to Azure data services and Power BI.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, deploy, and maintain SSIS packages and ETL workflows.Write and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and database objects.Perform source-to-target data validation, reconciliation, and data quality checks.Troubleshoot ETL failures, production issues, and database performance bottlenecks.Provide L2/L3 production support, perform RCA, and ensure SLA compliance.Manage SQL Server operations, including backups, recovery, SQL Agent jobs, security, and maintenance.Support database performance tuning, indexing, and query optimization.Participate in data warehouse and reporting projects.Support Azure data integration initiatives using Azure Data Factory and Azure SQL Database.Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards.
Required SkillsStrong hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server (2016/2019/2022).Expertise in SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) and ETL development.Advanced SQL programming, stored procedures, query tuning, and performance optimization.Experience with data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and data validation.Knowledge of SQL Server DBA activities, including backup/recovery, SQL Agent, security, and monitoring.Experience in production support and troubleshooting.Exposure to Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, and Power BI is preferred.Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
