Senior Front End Developer (Angular)

🚨 We're Hiring | Senior Front End Developer (Angular) | Toronto (Hybrid)
I'm looking for an experienced Senior Front End Developer to join one of our banking client's technology team for an exciting front-end modernization initiative.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys Angular architecture, reusable component libraries, UI modernization, and influencing technical decisions.
🏢 Work Model: Hybrid
⏳ Contract: 6 months, with potential for extension or permanent conversion
💼 Experience: 5+ years of Angular development
What You'll Be Working On:
Modernizing Angular applications and reducing dependencies on legacy Metronic templates.
Designing and building reusable, versioned Angular component libraries and design systems.
Leading Angular version upgrades and planning migrations across multiple applications.
Working with Bootstrap 5 and Tailwind CSS to modernize UI styling.
Replacing legacy jQuery functionality with native Angular components and directives.
Managing internal npm packages and supporting CI/CD pipelines.
Collaborating with development and design teams to ensure consistent UX across applications.
Must-Have Skills:
✅ 5+ years of hands-on Angular development, including version upgrades and migrations.
✅ Strong experience with Bootstrap 5 and Tailwind CSS.
✅ Experience with third-party UI templates such as Metronic, AdminLTE, or CoreUI.
✅ Experience modernizing legacy jQuery-based functionality.
✅ Knowledge of reusable component libraries, npm package versioning, and private registries.
✅ Experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions CI/CD.
✅ Understanding of incremental migration strategies across enterprise applications.
Nice to Have:
⭐ Metronic experience.
⭐ Internal design system or shared component library development.
⭐ Kendo UI for Angular.
⭐ Financial services or enterprise application experience.
⭐ Azure AD / MSAL authentication.
