Project Overview Icebitz is seeking a Senior Frontend Game & Blockchain Engineer to enhance an existing image-based puzzle application by upgrading its visual animations, rendering performance, and interactive effects . This role also involves integrating blockchain-based features to enable digital ownership, rewards, and on-chain interactions. The project merges high-performance 2D rendering (game-engine style) with Web3 infrastructure , creating a cutting-edge puzzle platform that bridges casual gaming and blockchain technology. Key Responsibilities Game & Animation Development Redesign and implement high-performance animations and visual effects for an image puzzle game Migrate or enhance rendering using Pixi.js, Phaser.js, or similar 2D rendering frameworks Optimize render loops, asset loading, and memory usage for smooth gameplay across devices Implement advanced effects such as transitions, particle systems, shader-based effects, and dynamic lighting Ensure responsive interaction handling including drag, snap, inertia, zoom, and touch support Blockchain & Web3 Integration Design and integrate blockchain-based features into the puzzle platform Implement wallet connectivity (e.g., MetaMask, WalletConnect) Develop smart contract interactions for game logic, rewards, and asset ownership Enable NFT-based puzzle assets, achievements, and collectibles Integrate on-chain/off-chain synchronization between gameplay state and blockchain data Apply security best practices for Web3 development Compensation & Work Details This is a one-time project position offering $1,200 USD per month .
