Senior Full Stack Engineer

About the role

Build, deploy, and support production applications for a global investment organization serving portfolio managers, traders, and researchers.

Industry: Investment / Asset Management

Tasks

• Build and maintain full-stack applications using Python, React, and AWS.
• Develop backend services and APIs using FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
• Build production-ready user interfaces using React, ideally React 18.
• Deploy and support AWS applications using ECS, Lambda, S3, and API Gateway.
• Troubleshoot production issues and make sound technical decisions.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, and investment professionals.
• Deliver production-ready software within Agile sprint cycles.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience building production applications using Python, React, and AWS.
• Proven ownership of backend APIs and real-world React application features.
• Direct AWS development, deployment, and production support experience.
• Mandatory investment/asset management experience in asset management, hedge funds, quantitative research, or trading technology.
• Strong problem-solving skills and communication with business stakeholders.
• Experience delivering production-ready software in Agile environments.
• PostgreSQL, Pandas, NumPy, data pipelines, CI/CD, portfolio analytics, quantitative systems, and event-driven architecture.

Schedule

• Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite/Week
• Contract: 12 Months (Potential Extension)
