Senior Genetec System Engineer

About the role

Seeking a Senior Genetec Access Control & Video Platform System Administrator to support the global conversion of approximately 102 offices to the Genetec platform.

Tasks

• Program, configure, and administer Genetec systems.
• Add, remove, and troubleshoot access control and video devices.
• Monitor site performance and configure alarm management.
• Support deployment activities across multiple global locations.
• Coordinate with local installers on system programming and device setup.

Requirements

• 7–10+ years of hands-on Genetec administration and programming experience.
• Strong experience with Genetec Synergis (Access Control) and Genetec Omnicast (Video Management).
• Genetec Enterprise-level certification or higher is mandatory.
• Experience administering and programming enterprise-level Genetec environments.
• Ability to configure, monitor, and troubleshoot access control and video devices remotely.
• Experience with alarm management, site performance monitoring, and device configuration.
• Ability to collaborate with local installers on logical programming and device setup.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and experience supporting large-scale, multi-site deployments.
• Degree not required; relevant hands-on experience is the priority.
• Candidates with only video management experience will not be considered. This is a hands-on system administration and programming role, not an installation or field technician position.

Schedule

• 100% Onsite, 5 Days/Week
• Duration: 12 Months
• Potential full-time conversion after 12 months, subject to business needs; not guaranteed.
