Senior Health Program Officer SG

The Epidemiology Bureau of the Department of Health - Central Office is looking for a qualified application to fill the following position:

1 Senior Health Program Officer (SG 18)

Job Description:
1. Regularly assess and monitor data submissions from regional facilities, CBOs, and agency partners, and coordinate findings and data quality concerns;
2. Maintain and manage the information system, existing datasets, and electronic database outputs;
3. Maintain database security by developing and enforcing policies procedures standards and controls;
4. Assist in the development and testing of new system functions and facilitate deployment and orientation of system improvements at various levels as necessary;
5. Support IHBSS, AEM, PSE and other reporting functions of DOH-EB with focus on HIV;
6. Coordinate with the Data Specialist in the constant monitoring and assessment of surveillance needs such as software and hardware; and
7. Perform other functions as assigned by the HIV/AIDS STI Surveillance Manager Division Chief and/or the Director IV
