Senior IT Systems Engineer

About the role

Tecnepi is seeking an experienced Senior IT Systems Engineer to join our team and provide technical support and infrastructure management for our clients.

The ideal candidate can independently troubleshoot complex technical issues, manage Microsoft environments, maintain secure infrastructure, and support multiple business clients.

Tasks

• Provide Level 2/Level 3 technical support and resolve escalated issues.
• Administer Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Entra ID, and Intune.
• Manage Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• Troubleshoot networking, firewalls, VPNs, and remote access.
• Support endpoint security, backups, patching, and infrastructure maintenance.
• Execute IT projects, migrations, and system deployments.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and ticket records.

Requirements

• 5+ years of IT experience, preferably in an MSP environment.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows Server, and Active Directory.
• Experience with networking, firewalls, VPNs, and endpoint management.
• Practical PowerShell scripting and automation skills.
• Excellent English communication and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple client environments.
• Must reside in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
