Senior Java AWS Engineer

About the role

Domain: Banking / Cards & Wallets

Environment: Java/J2EE + AWS + Agile

Requirements

• 8+ years of strong Java/J2EE application development experience
• Hands-on AWS implementation experience – Mandatory
• Strong experience with Camunda & Apache Airflow
• Experience with high-volume bulk data ingestion, transformation & processing
• Performance tuning, workload distribution, auto-scaling & resiliency
• JUnit & Cucumber testing experience
• APM & logging tools such as Splunk
• JIRA & Confluence experience preferred
• Strong Terraform & Infrastructure expertise – Mandatory
• Banking products architecture experience – Mandatory
• Strong understanding of Wallets & Cards transaction datasets
• Experience handling high-volume cards/wallets data loading & transformation – Mandatory
• Client-facing experience with requirement gathering and solution implementation
• Ability to clearly document requirements, define scope, manage expectations and deliver according to schedule
• Strong communication, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
