Senior Java Spark Backend Developer

Tasks

• Design, develop and deploy scalable, secure microservices using Java and Spring Boot
• Build and optimize large-scale data pipelines with Apache Spark
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs
• Work with SQL/NoSQL databases and optimize performance
• Lead code reviews and mentor junior developers
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions

Requirements

• 7+ Years
• Strong expertise in Core Java (Java 8/11/17+)
• Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security & Spring Data
• Production-level experience with Apache Spark (Core, SQL or Streaming)
• Microservices & REST API development
• Strong SQL/NoSQL database knowledge
• Docker, Git, Maven/Gradle & CI/CD
• Strong system design, debugging & problem-solving skills
• Good to Have: Angular / TypeScript
• AWS, Azure or GCP
• Kubernetes

Schedule

• Remote for the first 3 months, then On-site in Montreal
