Glenn Abueme is seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager, Tax Practitioner to join our tax department in Atlanta, Georgia. This full-time role offers a competitive salary of USD $110,000 per year and is pivotal in leading tax planning strategies and ensuring compliance with all relevant tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of comprehensive tax planning strategies.
• Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
• Oversee preparation and timely filing of tax returns and related documentation.
• Conduct in-depth tax research and analyze complex tax issues to minimize liabilities.
• Collaborate closely with finance and accounting teams to align tax strategies with business goals.
• Manage, mentor, and train junior tax staff to build a strong, knowledgeable team.
• Stay updated on tax law changes and proactively respond to regulatory developments impacting the organization.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
• Demonstrated strong leadership and team management skills.
• Expertise in tax planning strategies and tax compliance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Relevant experience in tax management roles is preferred.
