Senior Microsoft Power BI Developer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Microsoft Power BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level Business Intelligence solutions.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Business Intelligence and Data Analytics
• 8+ years of hands-on Microsoft Power BI experience
• Strong expertise in DAX, Power Query (M Language), Data Modeling, and SQL
• Experience with SQL Server, Azure Data Services, Azure Synapse, and/or Azure Data Factory
• Strong understanding of ETL processes and Data Warehousing
• Experience designing and developing Power BI reports, dashboards, scorecards, KPIs, and interactive visualizations
• Strong experience with Power BI performance tuning, report optimization, and data refresh
• Knowledge of Power BI Service, Gateway, Workspaces, and Deployment Pipelines
• Experience implementing Row-Level Security (RLS) and data governance
• Experience integrating Power BI with Azure, SQL Server, SharePoint, and other data sources
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to gather business requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions
• Experience mentoring junior developers and supporting BI platform governance
• Preferred: Microsoft Fabric
• Preferred: Azure and/or Power BI certifications
• Preferred: Python or R for advanced analytics
• Preferred: Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Background in Banking, Financial Services, Investment Banking, Capital Markets, or Financial Institutions
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
