Job description
About the role
Federal Soft Systems Inc. is looking for an experienced infrastructure engineer to manage and optimize enterprise Windows Server and Hyper-V virtualization environments.
Tasks
- Enterprise Microsoft Windows Server & Hyper-V administration
- Hyper-V Failover Clustering, Live Migration & Cluster Shared Volumes
- Microsoft SCVMM administration and VM provisioning
- WSUS and enterprise patch management
- HPE Synergy and HPE ProLiant DL380 server platforms
- Virtual networking, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, NIC Teaming & MAC addressing
- Infrastructure capacity planning, forecasting & performance optimization
- PowerShell scripting and automation
- SAN/NAS storage, high availability & disaster recovery
Requirements
- Preferred Skills: HPE OneView, server profiles, firmware management, and infrastructure standardization.
- strong troubleshooting skills across compute, storage, networking, hardware, and virtualization.
