🚀 HIRING: Senior Power BI Developer / Reporting Lead
We’re looking for a seasoned BI professional to design and deliver enterprise dashboards and reporting solutions, using Power BI with Databricks as the primary data source. You’ll work directly with customer stakeholders to turn business needs into clear, reliable insights.
📍 Location: Fort Worth, TX (Onsite)
💼Type: Contract
💰 Rate Range: $55/hr - $60/hr
🕒 Experience: 8-10 years
What you’ll do:
✅ Build interactive Power BI dashboards and reports for business and executive users
✅ Connect Power BI to Databricks (SQL Warehouses, Delta tables) and build optimized data models and DAX measures
✅ Gather requirements from stakeholders and translate them into reporting solutions
✅ Tune report performance, manage refresh schedules, and apply RLS and governance practices
✅ Validate data accuracy and troubleshoot reporting issues
✅ Work with data engineering teams to shape curated datasets in Databricks
✅ Support or migrate reports from Tableau and other BI tools
What we’re looking for:
🔹 8-10 years in business intelligence and reporting
🔹 3+ years of current, hands-on Power BI (DAX, Power Query, data modeling, Power BI Service administration)
🔹 Proven experience integrating Power BI with Databricks
🔹 Working experience with Tableau and at least one other reporting tool
🔹 Strong SQL skills
🔹 Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present to executive stakeholders
🔹 Ability to work onsite at the Fort Worth office
Nice to have:
➕ Azure data services, Delta Lake, or Unity Catalog
➕ PL-300 or Databricks certification
➕ Financial services or other regulated industry background
