Job description
BDS Recruitment LLC is hiring a full-time Senior Project Engineer in Farmington Hills, Michigan. In this on-site role, you will guide engineering projects from planning through completion, working with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams. The annual salary is $75,000.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead project planning and development while managing timelines, budgets, and project goals.
- Work with clients and stakeholders to establish project specifications and requirements.
- Track project progress and performance, adjusting plans to meet targets.
- Prepare technical documentation and reports for management and stakeholders.
- Assess project risks and put mitigation strategies in place.
- Mentor junior engineers and project team members.
- Coordinate with other departments to manage resources and improve project workflows.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or another engineering discipline.
- At least five years of engineering project management experience.
- Knowledge of project management methods and tools.
- Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or equivalent engineering software.
- PMP certification preferred.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
