Senior Project Engineer

We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Project Engineer to join our dynamic team in Farmington Hills, MI. As a pivotal player in our engineering department, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and oversee engineering projects from inception to completion. You will ensure that project goals align with business objectives while optimizing resources and delivering quality outcomes. This full-time position offers a competitive salary in the range of USD $70,000 - $75,000 annually, contributing significantly to our company’s growth and innovation in the engineering sector. Key Responsibilities Lead project planning and development, ensuring alignment with project timelines and budget constraints. Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to define project specifications and requirements. Monitor project progress and performance, making adjustments as necessary to achieve targets. Prepare technical documentation and reports to communicate project status to senior management and stakeholders. Conduct risk assessments and implement strategies to mitigate potential issues. Supervise and mentor junior engineers and project team members, fostering a collaborative environment. Coordinate with other departments to streamline project processes and ensure efficient resource management. Required and preferred qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical or related field). Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the engineering field. Demonstrated expertise in project management methodologies and tools. Familiarity with engineering software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or equivalent. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
