The position pays $56-$65 per hour and focuses on Python API development, AWS cloud architecture, React full-stack development, and distributed systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in AWS backend services, Python API development, React front-end engineering, and containerized deployments on Kubernetes/ECS platforms. This role requires hands-on experience building enterprise-grade microservices, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and highly available distributed systems. Python Backend API Development: Develop robust, secure, and scalable RESTful APIs and microservices using Python. Build backend services using: FastAPI Flask Django/Django REST Framework Design event-driven and asynchronous applications. Integrate third-party services and enterprise applications. Develop unit tests, integration tests, and API documentation. Implement authentication and authorization using OAuth2, JWT, and AWS Cognito. Optimize database interactions and API performance. Key Responsibilities AWS Backend Engineering Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud-native architectures on AWS. Develop and manage infrastructure utilizing: IAM (Identity and Access Management) VPCs, Subnets, Route Tables, Security Groups Application Load Balancers (ALB) API Gateway CloudWatch Monitoring and Alerting S3 Storage Solutions ECS/EKS Clusters AWS Lambda Serverless Functions RDS/Aurora Databases MongoDB or DynamoDB Implement infrastructure security, monitoring, disaster recovery, and high-availability solutions. Optimize cloud performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
