About the RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated Senior Research Associate with hands-on experience in Single-Cell Genomics and Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) to support cutting-edge research programs within a leading global biopharmaceutical organization.The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in scRNA-seq, snRNA-seq, RNA-seq, and NGS library preparation, with the ability to independently execute experiments, troubleshoot workflows, and deliver high-quality sequencing data.
Key ResponsibilitiesPerform NGS library preparation and quality control for research applications.Execute single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) and single-nucleus RNA sequencing (snRNA-seq) workflows.Prepare and process RNA-seq and other sequencing libraries.Conduct molecular biology experiments including nucleic acid extraction, purification, quantification, and qPCR.Support assay development, optimization, and validation activities.Analyze experimental results and communicate findings to scientific teams.Maintain accurate experimental records and documentation.
Required QualificationsBachelor's or master's degree in biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics, or a related scientific field.3–5+ years of laboratory research experience.Strong hands-on experience with:NGS Library PreparationRNA-seqscRNA-seq and/or snRNA-seqqPCRNucleic Acid Extraction & PurificationExperience with one or more single-cell platforms:10x Genomics ChromiumParse BiosciencesScaleBioIllumina-based workflowsKnowledge of sequencing QC and data quality assessment.
Preferred QualificationsExperience with CRISPR-based technologies.Exposure to high-throughput screening workflows.Experience with laboratory automation platforms.Familiarity with Electronic Laboratory Notebooks (ELN).Strong communication and organizational skills.
