Tasks
- Scalable, highly available backend services
- Microservices & event-driven architecture
- AWS cloud deployments
- CI/CD with Jenkins & Azure DevOps
- REST APIs, reactive systems & functional programming
Requirements
- Scala – 3+ years
- Akka – 2+ years (Actors, Streams, HTTP, or Persistence)
- Java 8+ – 5+ years
- Senior-level software engineering experience
- Strong problem-solving and system design skills
- Experience mentoring developers and driving technical solutions
- Bachelor's + 10 years of experience OR Master's + 8 years of experience.
Schedule
- 12 Months
- Hybrid in Chicago (onsite Monday & Wednesday) or fully remote.
