Senior Software Developer – ETL

About the role

Nexus IT Staffing is seeking an experienced Senior ETL Software Developer to support data conversion, migration, and digital transformation initiatives.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience developing and documenting ETL processes for data conversion and migration projects.
• Extensive experience in data migration planning and execution for digital transformation initiatives.
• Proven experience migrating data from legacy applications to modernized solutions using ETL methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases, including Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and Azure SQL Database.
• Expertise in complex SQL development, data analysis, data validation, and technical problem-solving.
• Migrating document attachments from legacy systems to modernized platforms.
• Working with cloud database technologies, including Azure SQL.
• Hands-on experience with ETL tools such as Azure Data Factory, Informatica, or similar technologies.
• Developing and maintaining ETL and data migration documentation, including: ETL mappings, Data dictionaries, Business cases, Data migration strategies and plans.
