Position OverviewWe are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in Big Data, Cloud Engineering, and Full Stack Development to build scalable, cloud-native solutions that power marketing technology platforms and customer-facing applications.The ideal candidate combines deep experience in Scala, Spark, Databricks, Python, and Azure with modern full-stack development skills and a passion for leveraging AI-assisted engineering practices to accelerate software delivery.This role requires a hands-on engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment, collaborates across multiple teams, and contributes to both technical architecture and implementation.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and optimize high-performance big data applications using Scala, Databricks, Spark SQL, Spark Streaming, and Python.Build, maintain, and optimize cloud-native data pipelines on Microsoft Azure, leveraging Azure Data Factory (ADF) for data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration.Develop and maintain full-stack applications using modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue, and backend technologies including Node.js, Python, or Java.Design and implement scalable RESTful and GraphQL APIs and microservices that integrate MarTech platforms with customer-facing applications.Apply software engineering best practices, clean architecture, and distributed system design patterns to build reliable, maintainable, and scalable solutions.Drive AI-assisted software development practices, including Vibe Coding, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor, or similar AI development tools.Collaborate with Product Managers, Marketing teams, Data Engineers, and other stakeholders to transform business requirements into scalable technical solutions.Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, technical design, and continuous improvement initiatives.Contribute to CI/CD automation, testing, monitoring, and production support.Required QualificationsStrong professional experience with:ScalaApache SparkSpark SQLSpark StreamingDatabricksPythonHands-on experience building cloud data solutions on Microsoft Azure, including:Azure Data Factory (ADF)Azure storage and data servicesFull-stack development experience with:React, Angular, or Vue.jsNode.js, Python, Java, or similar backend technologiesExperience designing and consuming:REST APIsGraphQL APIsStrong understanding of:Distributed systemsEvent-driven architecturesMicroservicesSoftware design patternsExperience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and workflows (Vibe Coding, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor, or similar).Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
