About the role
Zimpligital is hiring a Senior Software Engineer. The role involves developing features, contributing to system design, providing technical leadership, and working with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Feature development: Design and build complex features independently with high-quality, maintainable code.
- System design: Contribute to scalable architecture, system design, and technical decisions.
- Technical leadership: Lead code reviews, troubleshoot complex issues, and mentor junior engineers.
- Testing and performance: Define testing strategies, optimize performance, and improve system reliability.
- Collaboration: Work with Product Managers and cross-functional teams to refine requirements and deliver solutions.
- Technical excellence: Identify technical debt and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong backend development skills with Python, Node.js, or Go.
- Experience building production-grade backend systems.
- Strong understanding of APIs, databases, distributed systems, and scalable architecture.
- Experience with Docker and cloud platforms.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound technical decisions.
- Experience in E-commerce, Omnichannel, or SAP integrations is a plus.
- Experience with RAG, LLM, Vector Search, or AI products is a plus.
