SEO & Marketing Internship

About the role

The GAO Group is headquartered in NYC, USA, and Toronto, Canada.

Its member companies are incorporated in both the USA & Canada and are leading suppliers of advanced electronics and network products for engineers worldwide.

Tasks

• Conduct keyword research to identify relevant keywords and SEO opportunities.
• Analyze and select strategic keywords to improve content visibility and search rankings.
• Create and optimize SEO-friendly content, including blog posts, articles, and social media content.
• Collaborate with content creators and the marketing team to ensure content aligns with SEO strategies.
• Use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Google Gemini, and Microsoft Copilot/Bing to assist with content research, ideation, and optimization.
• Optimize website content, meta titles, meta descriptions, headings, URLs, and other on-page SEO elements.
• Assist with link-building initiatives and off-page SEO activities to improve website authority.
• Monitor website performance using tools such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
• Prepare basic SEO performance reports and identify areas for improvement.
• Conduct competitor research to identify SEO trends, content opportunities, and optimization strategies.
• Perform basic website SEO audits to identify technical and on-page SEO issues.
• Assist in identifying and resolving basic technical SEO issues.
• Apply AI-based keyword analysis, content optimization, and trend research to support SEO activities.
• Stay updated on the latest SEO, search engine algorithm, AI, and digital marketing trends.
• Support the team with other SEO and digital marketing activities as assigned.

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Data Science, Engineer
