Service Advisor

Tasks

• You will manage the entire service experience from the first greeting and vehicle drop-off to explaining repairs, handling billing and following up after the job is done.
• Greet customers professionally
• Listen to vehicle concerns and symptoms
• Translate technical jargon from mechanics into clear, simple language that customers can easily understand
• Create and manage repair orders (ROs)
• Relay clear instructions from the customer to the technicians
• Schedule and balance appointments
• Collaborate with the parts department
• Prepare cost estimates and obtain customer authorization
• Recommend routine maintenance and suggested services
• Explain warranty coverages
• Review final invoices with the customer
• Process payments and handle vehicle pick-up or loaner contracts
